Axe is an award-winning multipurpose jewelry kit, produced for the competition marking the restoration and inauguration of the American University of Beirut museum in 2006. Inspired from the Bronze Age ceremonial battle axe, the design presents a principal piece, in the shape of a sterling silver axe, with silver and leather accessories that allow it to be worn as a pendant, a choker, a bracelet, a brooch, a scarf holder or a two-finger ring. The main axe piece comes in satin or mirror-finish silver and its upper linear tip may be plain, inlayed with precious stones or slit through to accommodate a leather strip.
